Start your mock test

Just like the real test: 24 questions, 45 minutes, and you need 18 correct answers (75%) to pass. After the test you see every mistake with an explanation.

These are practice questions written by Langula, not official test questions. The real questions are not published; they are based on the official handbook.

Three ways to practise

Mock test

24 random questions from all five topics with a 45-minute timer. At the end: your score, pass or fail, and every mistake explained.

Practise all questions

Go through the whole question bank one by one with instant feedback. Questions you already know move to the end.

Repeat my mistakes

Only the questions you got wrong — the fastest way to close your gaps before the real test.

Practise by topic

Want the facts first? Our Life in the UK test guide explains the format, the pass mark, booking and who is exempt.

Frequently asked questions

?Are these the real Life in the UK test questions?
No. The official questions are not published. Our questions are written by Langula and cover the same topics as the official handbook, so they are good practice for the kind of facts you need to know.
?How many questions do I need to get right?
In the real test you need 18 out of 24 correct answers. Our mock test uses the same rule, so you can see whether you would pass.
?How often should I take a mock test?
Take a mock test after you have studied every chapter, then repeat it regularly. When you pass several mock tests in a row with a good margin, you are probably ready to book.
?Is the practice test free?
Yes. The practice test, all study pages and the explanations are free and you do not need an account. Your progress is saved in your browser.
?What is the best way to learn the history questions?
Learn in small steps: one period at a time, with a simple timeline of the most important dates. Then use the history practice questions until you can answer them without guessing.
